GaN (Gallium Nitride)

Like silicon, GaN is a semiconductor material with a wide variety of uses. In some applications, it can perform better than silicon components, due to its ability to handle higher voltages and temperatures at greater efficiency in transistors, for example. GaN is quickly becoming popular in power converter components in consumer electronics for this reason, because they allow a product to handle greater power while maintaining a small form factor.

Power Delivery

What is USB Power Delivery?

USB Power Delivery (or PD, for short) is a charging technology. It's designed to be a more universal charging standard that allows a range of devices (not just smartphones) to charge quickly over a USB connection.

USB Power Delivery Advantages

The biggest advantage is that USB Power Delivery has increased standard power levels to up to 100W. This means your device will be able to charge much faster than before. USB Power Delivery will charge your device up to 70% faster than standard 5W charging and provide more power to charge tablets and laptops quickly.

Another great feature of USB PD is the fact that the power direction is no longer fixed. This enables the device with the power to provide the power. For example, in the past, if you plugged your phone into the computer, it would charge your phone. But with Power Delivery, the phone you plug in could be responsible for powering your hard drive.

In addition, Power Delivery will also ensure device are not overcharged and will only provide the necessary amount of juice needed.

Wireless Charging

What is Wireless Charging?

Wireless charging uses an electromagnetic field to transfer energy between two objects through electromagnetic induction.

How Does Wireless Charging Work?

Wireless charging works by transferring energy from the charger to a receiver in the back of the phone via electromagnetic induction. The charger uses an induction coil to create an alternating electromagnetic field, which the receiver coil in the phone converts back into electricity to be fed into the battery.

Wireless Charging Advantages

The biggest advantage to wireless charging is convenience. Wireless charging means that you no longer need to plug a cable into your smartphone to charge it. Simply placing it face up on a special mat or tabletop is enough to start charging up your smartphone’s battery, be it the iPhone X, iPhone 8, Samsung Galaxy S8 or any number of different smartphones that support wireless charging.

You also only need one wireless charger for multiple devices. In addition, wireless charging brings security. You do not need to plug your iPhone into an unknown cable, placing it onto a charging mat should be safe.

ZEN+ and ZEN+ 2.0

What is Zen+ Adaptive Charging?

Adaptive Charging is an intelligent charging technology designed for electric vehicles, where charging can be shifted based on grid loads and in accordance with the vehicle owner’s needs. Drawing inspiration from this industry, Zendure’s specialized charging tech,Zen+ Adaptive Charging, provides intelligent high-speed charging for your devices.

We have made great efforts to upgrade ZEN+ into Zen+ 2.0, which greater compatibility. Zen+ 2.0 is compatible with tablets and phones from Apple, Samsung & other brands. Zen+ 2.0 provides ultra fast (up to 18W) charging of Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 compatible phones, including Samsung Galaxy S7. Output: 5V/3A - 9V/2A - 12V/1.5A.

Zen+ Charging Advantages

Zen+ automatically identifies any connected device and determines your device’s needs, and then fine-tunes the output to charge it at optimum speed. It not only enables the safe usage of maximal charging power but also makes charging much faster compared to traditional power sockets.

Qualcomm Quick Charge

What is Qualcomm Quick Charge?

Quick Charge is a technology designed by Qualcomm Incorporated, used in devices such as smartphones and computers for managing power delivered over USB.

Qualcomm Quick Charge Advantages

At its most simple level, Quick Charge (QC) allows for high levels of current to flow to the battery, in an attempt to maximize its charging efficiency. It offers more power and thus charges batteries in devices faster than standard USB rates. Compared with conventional charging, you can refill the battery of enabled devices up to 4X faster with a Quick Charge certified power adapter and any USB connector, including Type-C. Quick Charge can charge some devices up to 80 percent in just 35 minutes.

Zendure adopts the most advanced QC 3.0 chip, which allows for a fined tuned power output and a more optimized charging cycle. QC 3.0 is able to dynamically adjust the charging voltage over the battery charging cycle, allowing for a wider selection of voltages. This new technology allows the device to request just enough voltage to reach the desired charge current, thereby maximizing efficiency.

USB-C

What is USB-C?

USB-C, formally known as USB Type-C, is the emerging industry-standard connector for delivering data and power to and from computing devices.

USB-C Advantages

Due to its two-fold rotational-symmetrical connector, it can be inserted either way, so you don't have to figure out which end goes where, eliminating the frustrations of earlier USB ports. USB-C is compatible with devices like the newest laptops, phones, and tablets. And given time, it’ll spread to pretty much everything that currently uses the older, larger USB connector.

With increased data-transfer speeds comes the ability to send simultaneous video signals and power streams. USB-C’s Alternate Mode for video enables adapters to output video from that same USB-C port to HDMI, DisplayPort, and other types of video connectors on displays, TVs and projectors. What’s more, USB-C supports the USB Power Delivery specification. USB PD can deliver up to 100 watts of power, more than six times what USB 3.1 can. This opens up the potential for laptop-powered projectors based on USB-C.

Pass-Through Charging

What is Pass-Through Charging?

Pass-through charging makes it possible that a power bank has the ability to charge itself and charge devices at the same time.

Pass-Through Charging Advantages

Pass-through charging is very helpful if you always want your power bank to be at full capacity. Charge Zendure while charging your devices at full speed with a single wall charger, a feature rarely seen in other power banks.

Pass-through charging not only provides USB Type-C Port as input and output, but also regular 2.4A(Max) Micro-USB input and 2.4A(Max) USB-A output. Zendure upgrades pass-through charging to include a UPS feature. There is no power interruption when switching between pass-through and battery mode, making it ideal for applications such as security systems, micro-controllers, home automation, network storage, back-up power for Wifi-routers, and more.
